Dear AIWM Members and Friends,

Over the past year, we’ve spoken about staying ahead—through regulatory change, technological shifts, and evolving client expectations. Today, that message is even more urgent.

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East is a stark reminder of how quickly geopolitical risks can reshape markets. From energy prices to inflation and investor sentiment, such developments directly impact how we advise, allocate, and manage risk. Uncertainty is no longer episodic—it is structural.

In my April 2025 note, I highlighted the growing impact of geopolitical tensions on markets. Since then, complexity has only increased. The question is not whether change will come, but how prepared we are to respond.

AIWM Professional Excellence Event – 22 May 2026

Against this backdrop, I am pleased to invite you to our upcoming AIWM Professional Excellence event on 22 May 2026.

Building on our previous workshops, this session will focus on practical insights and candid discussions across key industry themes—from market dynamics to innovation—equipping us to navigate uncertainty and deliver better outcomes for our clients.

A Continuing Journey

From laying strong educational foundations in October 2024, to navigating geopolitical shifts in 2025, and translating innovation into practice—we have reinforced one principle: professional excellence is a continuous journey.

I look forward to seeing many of you on 22 May as we continue that journey together.
