Dan Tapiero
Dan Tapiero is the Head of International Client Solutions for Southeast Asia at iCapital, based in Singapore. He joined iCapital in 2020 via the Artivest acquisition and was an early member of iCapital’s international business, leading strategy and business development initiatives for asset managers and wealth managers across EMEA. Prior to rejoining iCapital in 2026, Dan was on the Capital Formation team at Permira in London and began his career at UBS in New York.
Dan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Emory University.

Divya has above 15 years of post-qualification experience as an international tax and transaction tax adviser.
She specializes in providing tax advisory services to clients in the asset management and real estate industry.
Professional and Industry Experience
—Divya has advised global and regional fund managers in the real estate (including infrastructure, data centres, logistics) and private equity space on their fund and management structures. The advice includes transaction structuring to achieve a tax efficient position with respect to withholding tax, capital gains tax on exits, and managing permanent establishment/ source-based taxation risks.
—She has assisted in implementing fund platforms in Singapore, including assisting in obtaining fund tax incentives. Specifically, she has worked on projects involving tax assistance in set-up of and Pan-Asia Real Estate Funds, APAC Infrastructure Fund, and Global Data Centre Fund.
—She has also been part of cross-border projects, such as mergers, acquisitions and restructuring, involving multiple jurisdictions (Asia-Pacific, Europe, US) and advised on the overall international tax implications and assisted in achieving tax efficient structures.
—She has also worked on various tax due-diligence projects including acquisition of property holding (Singapore commercial real estate), and asset management companies.
—She has advised high net-worth individuals to set-up family offices/ trusts in Singapore, which includes capital structuring, management structuring and assistance with the implementation from a Singapore tax standpoint.
—Divya was earlier with KPMG in India from 2010 till 2014 specialising in Indian tax and regulatory advisory to offshore and onshore fund managers with their real estate, private equity, and venture capital investments. This involved assistance in setting-up funds, structuring investment and exit strategies for investment into India. Her advisory work with real estate and private equity fund clients involved structuring of investment vehicles in the form of domestic venture capital funds and alternative investment funds. She has also advised offshore fund management clients on their investment in Indian listed market

James Dellborg has over 20 years of experience in financial services in a range of roles with both Private Banks and consulting firms. His 15 years of experience in Asia included front office roles at Coutts Private Bank as well as a role at ANZ running Strategy & Business Enablement for the Asia Private Bank. He has been with Synpulse for 8 years and specialises in front office topics like External Asset Management.
Kelvin Sng
Kelvin Sng
Kelvin has 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His area of expertise is fund and investment services. He also has extensive experience working with global banks and public institutions.
Kelvin has held several senior roles with leading banks and service providers. He started his career at a public listed securities brokerage company as a financial analyst. He then moved on to join leading global fund administrators, banks and an asset management company.
His roles included responsibilities encompassing regional sales, business development, client management, portfolio valuation and operations. Throughout his career, Kelvin has focused on helping clients in fund structuring and product launches, and in improving their operational controls and governance.
Kelvin was also Head of Fiduciary Services with a global bank and served as Resident Manager for its trust business in Singapore, where he was responsible for fiduciary services across private and public funds.
Kelvin graduated from Nanyang Technological University with an accounting degree. He is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.

Marc Rey
Marc Rey is a financial markets professional with over two decades of experience across asset classes developing and providing bespoke solutions to financial markets participants. He currently serves as Managing Director Asia at Chartered Investment — a German fintech and part of the international Chartered Group — where he leads the firm’s Asian expansion, providing Private Banks, Wealth Managers, External Asset Managers, Family Offices, and Institutional clients with bespoke, technology-driven financial engineering solutions.
Prior to joining Chartered Investment in 2019, Marc spent nearly a decade at HSBC Global Markets in Düsseldorf, ultimately leading the Private Banking & Wealth Management and Family Office Solutions team, covering institutional clients, family offices, and UHNW clients out of Global Markets. His earlier career encompassed equity derivatives sales, multi-asset OTC hedging, and securitised product distribution, with additional formative experience in equity &
derivatives trading at Commerzbank AG and Morgan Stanley.
Marc holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Mannheim and is a CFA Charterholder. Since relocating to Singapore in 2019, he has built an extensive network across Asia’s Asset and Wealth Management sector. He is a recognised voice on financial innovation and structured products, having been featured in Hubbis. In 2025, Marc participated in the CFA Mentoring Programme, supporting the development of the next generation of investment professionals.

Nithi Genesan
Nithi Genesan is the Country Head of Compliance in the Singapore operation of Waystone Compliance Solutions. A compliance and regulatory specialist, Nithi has over 15 years of experience working within the financial sector and an in-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations of the financial markets. Nithi’s vast experience includes working within securities, asset management, insurance, financial advisory and payment services.
At Waystone, Nithi manages numerous regulatory projects for large institutions and oversees the Compliance Team, providing the team with direction and oversight as they support clients with ongoing compliance matters including, obtaining licenses, internal audits, preparing for MAS inspections, providing compliance gap analysis and compliance training.
An experienced compliance trainer, Nithi conducts training for institutions ranging from asset management entities to top-tier banks. This includes working with the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) to obtain accreditation for compliance training courses in Singapore and working with the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) to establish compliance training.
Prior to joining Waystone (previously Argus Global), Nithi was Head of the Singapore operation for a well-established compliance consulting firm in the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, Nithi maintained a proven track record for consulting with financial institutions and intermediaries and managed numerous compliance projects for large institutions.
Serene Lim
Serene Lim
Serene joined KPMG Singapore in October 2021, bringing with her extensive experience from the trust and corporate services sector, where she has worked closely with High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) on succession planning and Family Office structures. In addition, she has also worked with corporate clients in relation to structured finance in Capital Markets.
Her career spans 10 years in the banking industry prior to transitioning to the trust industry in 2006. Serene has a strong background in trust administration, structuring, and managing intricate trust and corporate arrangements. Previously, they served as Senior Manager of Relationship Management at an independent trust and corporate services provider for over three years, and as Resident Manager and Head of Trust for another leading provider for three and a half years. Her earlier experience also includes roles at HSBC and Merrill Lynch within their trust subsidiaries.
Serene has been actively involved in the professional community, serving as a committee member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Singapore Branch, from July 2018 until stepping down in 2025.
