Dear AIWM Members and Friends,
It is hard to believe that we are already well into the year and that the next round of AIWM events is quickly approaching. Time seems to move particularly fast when the calendar is filled with opportunities to meet fellow members and engage with the broader industry.
One highlight earlier this year was our Chinese New Year dinner at the Fullerton Hotel, which was very well attended. It was a wonderful evening and a great opportunity for members, associate partners and friends of the Association to reconnect after the holidays. The strong turnout once again demonstrated the value of the AIWM community and the importance of creating occasions where meaningful conversations and networking can take place.
Looking ahead, one of the key events on our calendar will be the second AIWM Independent Wealth Summit, which will take place on 14 April 2026. Building on the success of the inaugural summit, the upcoming edition will once again bring together practitioners, partners and industry stakeholders to exchange views on the evolving landscape of independent wealth management. Discussions will cover a range of topics including regulatory developments, technology, and the broader trends shaping our industry.
We know that everyone’s schedules are busy, but we very much hope that many of you will be able to take the time to attend the summit. Events such as this are an important part of AIWM’s mission to foster dialogue, strengthen connections within the community and support the continued development of the independent wealth management ecosystem in Singapore.
We therefore encourage members and partners to register early for the summit on 14 April 2026, and we look forward to welcoming many of you there.
Finally, I would like to thank our members and partners for their continued support of the Association. It is through this collective engagement that AIWM is able to organise meaningful programming and initiatives for the community.

Alexander Floersheim
AIWM Secretary
