Compliance Insight – October 2024

In the month of September 2024, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) had issued various updates and forms, of note, Change of Particulars for Fund Management Companies, FAQs on Licencing of Fund Management Companies issued on 16 September 2024, the last being 29 August 2024. Also to note, 2 new forms for managers dealing in OTC Derivatives, Form 1A the Notification on Becoming a Significant Derivatives Holder and lastly, Form 1B the Notification on Ceasing on Becoming a Significant Derivatives Holder.

It was an evening where formal meets funny. The members reviewed and approved the annual report for FY2023/24, bade farewell to the last committee and welcomed the new office bearers for the 2024 – 2026 term and had a belly good laugh with stand-up comedian, Rishi Budrani, who interacted and joked with the audience at The Atelier, The Capitol Kempinski Singapore.
