Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) is one of the world’s largest family-owned and owner-managed private banks, with CHF 193.5 billion in client assets and a strong financial foundation, including a Tier 1 capital ratio of 22.5% and a long-term deposit rating of Aa2 from Moody’s (as at 30 June 2026).
Our independence enables long-term thinking, client-first strategies, and swift decision-making. As a pure-play private bank, we focus exclusively on wealth and asset management, which enables us to provide highly customised, performance-driven solutions for private and institutional clients.
Our expertise spans traditional and alternative investments, wealth structuring, and lending. We combine this with an entrepreneurial spirit and an unwavering focus on our clients’ evolving needs.
With a presence in over 30 key markets, we offer both a global perspective and local insight, as well as access to a wide range of high-quality solutions and strategies, empowering our clients to diversify and grow their wealth. Our robust balance sheet and conservative risk management approach support our ambition and long-term vision to deliver value, generation after generation.
In Singapore, UBP is one of the few banks that has set up its own Variable Capital Company (VCC) structure, helping clients apply an institutional approach to managing wealth.
What role does your company play in the IWM / EAM ecosystem?
UBP acts as a strategic partner to EAMs by providing a purpose-built EAM platform that improves execution, insight, and scalability across multiple jurisdictions. We give EAMs direct access to our dedicated execution specialists and broad advisory and discretionary thought-leadership content, and we provide end-to-end support for Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) and fund formations in Luxembourg and Singapore, offering multiple options for institutionalised bespoke mandates.
Our multi-booking network across Europe and Asia supports cross-border coverage, while our established strengths in alternative investments and fixed income/high yield give EAMs differentiated building blocks for resilient portfolios.
UBP’s EAM division has been growing steadily. It now works with more than 200 counterparties globally and oversees approximately CHF 23 billion in assets under management as at the end of 2025, operating through 12 booking centres built on unified service standards and a deep understanding of the operational constraints EAMs face daily.
By combining strong risk management, client asset safekeeping, and an agile organisation, we help our EAM partners deliver quality, resilience, and speed of execution for their clients.
