SECTION F: DECLARATION

1) We hereby apply, and agree to join, as, Associate member of the Association of Independent Wealth Managers (Singapore) (“AIWM”).

2) We declare that all the information provided and submitted in this application is accurate and that no material information has been wilfully suppressed nor withheld. We accept that if any of the information given in this application is in any way false or incorrect, the application may be rejected or any offer of membership may be withdrawn or the membership with AIWM may be terminated.

3) We agree to fully indemnify, defend and save harmless AIWM from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, claims, demands, causes of action, lawsuits and expenses (including all incurred legal fees & expenses) that AIWM may incur, or that may be threatened against AIWM, arising out of or in connection with

i. Any direct breach or violation of this membership application by us; or

ii. Our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

4) We understand that it is our responsibility to promptly notify AIWM as soon as is practical of any changes to the company’s and management team’s particulars or circumstances as set out in this application form.

5) We agree to pay the required Associate membership fees of S$5,000.00 upon acceptance of this Associate member application. We are fully aware that this fee is non-refundable in the event we decide to withdraw the membership.

We hereby further declare and confirm that:

1) We have read and understood the terms and conditions of this Associate member application. As Associate Member of AIWM, we hereby agree to abide by the AIWM Constitution, the Code of Ethics and Best Practices and the AIWM Membership Protocol, as well as any other by-laws and regulations which may be instituted by AIWM, and which may be in force from time to time until such time as our company shall cease to be an Associate Member of AIWM.

2) We understand and we are aware that this application may be rejected, and neither AIWM nor any of its officers is obliged to provide or disclose any information concerning, or the basis of, or the reason for the rejection.

3) We understand and we are aware that new member applicants shall be required to complete an initial two-year membership term. Membership fees shall remain payable annually in June. Acceptance of a new membership application constitutes our agreement to this two-year initial term and its associated annual payment obligations.

4) The company and its representatives meet and adhere to the MAS Guidelines of Fit and Proper criteria.

5) The undersigned is an authorised representative of the company who is responsible for and authorised to provide all the above information, declaration and to submit this application on behalf of the company.
